Poor man's teleprompter

Teleprompters are great, but expensive. Like me, you may not have extra $2,000 to spend right now. On the other hand, you probably do have a screen you can position close to the camera.

In this case, this app is for you. While it doesn't completely replace a real teleprompter, you can get very close results.

Using the app is really easy. Type some text, submit it, and it appears on the screen. From there, you can use shortcuts to go back to the form or change the text speed or its size.

Offline version

If you want to use the application when not connected to the internet, download the offline version. Extract the downloaded archive and open index.html in your browser. If you are unable to interact with the application, make sure your browser is set to run local JavaScript.

Privacy

We care about your privacy. The text you enter in the form is not sent to any server. Everything you change is stored locally, which means that you don't have to make the same changes every time you come back, but also that your data remains on your PC.
